You may be familiar with a golf course with 18 holes, but a mouse with 18 buttons might sound rather awesome and make you wonder what it is all about. In collaboration with OpenOffice.org community and based on users’ feedback, WarMouse has announced the release of an “awesome” mouse which comes with 18 programmable buttons designed particularly for the open-source office productivity suite. The OpenOfficeMouse includes default profiles for the five main OpenOffice.org applications.


Its exterior look may not much to shout about, but the multi-button application
mouse offers users a more exciting and user-friendly experience negotiating OpenOffice.org applications
with its 18 interface buttons, an analog joystick and the ability to support 52 key commands. The mouse is the first to use the joystick as a keyboard.
